Five years ago, I wrote my first article about The Dancing Faun — at a time of transition, uncertainty, and quiet hope.

At that stage, the shop was preparing to move online. It felt both exciting and daunting. There was vision, but there was also hesitation — the natural uncertainty that comes with change.

Today, things feel different.

The Dancing Faun has evolved — not only in how it operates, but in how it curates, presents, and understands the pieces it brings into the world. What began as a physical space restored with care has grown into something more intentional and refined.

The online shop is no longer an experiment. It is home.

Over time, my appreciation for craftsmanship, patina, age, and quiet beauty has deepened. The focus has sharpened. The selection has become more considered. Each piece is chosen not simply because it is old, but because it carries presence — because it feels worthy of continuing its story.
