Introduced in 1982, 'Peach Rose' is among the softer and more gently distinctive entries in the Royal Albert catalogue of that decade. The decoration centres on loosely trailing sprays of peach and coral roses — their colour sitting precisely between pink and orange, warm without being vivid — accompanied by small lavender forget-me-nots and fine green foliage on stems that move freely across a cream bone china ground. The overall impression is of a garden caught in the softer light of late morning rather than high summer: unhurried, quietly pretty, and entirely without artifice.

The form follows the standard Royal Albert scalloped profile of the period — a generously proportioned footed teacup with the characteristic scrolled handle, a matching saucer, and a side plate, all trimmed with a fine gold line. A smaller floral spray is carried inside the cup. The cream ground gives the pattern a warmth that white-ground versions of similar designs do not quite achieve.
