Full lead crystal — containing a minimum of 24% lead oxide — gives the piece its weight, clarity, and distinctive optical brilliance. The sterling silver collar is of a clean, flared form with a polished finish. It bears British hallmarks, including the lion passant confirming sterling standard. Condition reflects both use and age. The stopper carries a significant chip, clearly visible. Two stress cracks are present to the inner wall of the neck. These do not extend through the exterior and the body remains structurally sound. The crystal itself is otherwise clear, with no clouding or major damage. The silver collar remains intact with no dents.
