Handcrafted Copper & Brass Men’s Cuff Bangle | Labradorite Cabochon | Sedgefield, Garden Route
Copper and brass carry the marks of the maker’s hand; labradorite reveals its colour when the light moves.
This cuff was handmade by a craftsperson in Sedgefield, on the Garden Route, within the last five years. The labradorite was chosen and supplied by The Dancing Faun Antiques and set by the maker. Labradorite is valued for its labradorescence, the flashes of blue, gold and green that appear and disappear as the stone moves in the light.
The open cuff is built from curved brass rails framing twisted, shaped copper strips. Brass bands hold the elements together at each side, and the open ends finish in brass caps. At the centre, a round labradorite cabochon sits in a raised brass bezel.
Excellent condition. Never worn, with no chips or scratches to the labradorite. The visible solder joins are part of its handmade construction.

Collector Appeal
A one-off designer piece: no other cuff like it exists. It was made in Sedgefield around a labradorite cabochon personally selected by The Dancing Faun Antiques, and the stone’s size and colouring are unique to this cuff. Its substantial copper and brass construction contrasts with the changing blue, green and golden colours of the stone, giving it a direct connection to the Garden Route and its own individual handwork.
The metal holds its colour; the stone keeps changing with the light.
