Royal Albert | ‘Windsor Rose’ | Bone China Tea & Coffee Pot Warmer | England
A small flame at the table, so the pot need never leave it.
Royal Albert’s ‘Windsor Rose’ sets soft blue roses on white bone china, picked out with gilt. The backstamp carries a 1982 copyright date for the pattern. A warmer like this holds a tealight beneath the pot, helping keep tea or coffee warm through a long sitting.
The warmer is drum-shaped, with fluted sides and a scalloped, gilt-edged top. The pot rests over the central opening. Round openings around the sides let air reach the flame. Sprays of blue roses decorate the sides, and a gilt line runs round the foot. In photo 4 it is shown with the matching ‘Windsor Rose’ coffee pot, which is sold separately.
Excellent condition. No chips, cracks or crazing, and the gilding is bright and intact.
