R.H. & S.L. Plant Ltd of Longton, Staffordshire produced Tuscan Fine Bone China throughout the mid-twentieth century to a consistent standard that placed them firmly in the upper tier of English provincial bone china makers. The Windsor pattern — crimson Rococo cartouches, dense gold acanthus scrollwork, pink lattice medallions and scattered polychrome floral bouquets on a white ground — was among their most formally ambitious designs, and it translates particularly well to the trio format, where the full border treatment on the side plate and saucer can be appreciated at close range. The green winged crown backstamp reading "Tuscan Fine English Bone China / Made in England" with "Windsor" in pink below dates this piece to approximately 1947–1966. This trio is a full-size teacup setting and is distinct from the demitasse cups in the Windsor coffee set listed separately.

The teacup is of generous footed form with a scrolled handle gilded at the tip; the exterior carries a gold chain band at mid-body and a fine gold line at the foot rim, with the crimson Rococo border and floral bouquets decorating the upper register. The interior is fully decorated — crimson cartouches with gold acanthus at the rim, and a central polychrome floral bouquet of roses, forget-me-nots and mixed flowers at the well. The saucer is round with a scalloped gilded rim, carrying the full Windsor Rococo border with alternating crimson cartouches and floral sprays, and a gold chain ring at the cup well. The side plate is round with a scalloped gilded rim and carries the complete border treatment — four crimson cartouches with pink lattice medallions, gold acanthus scrollwork, and generous scattered bouquets of roses, dahlias, blue flowers and mixed blooms — with a central medallion of roses and forget-me-nots within a gold scroll border at the well.

Condition is very good. No chips or cracks. The gilding to the cup handle tip, chain band, foot line and rim is intact. The gilding to the saucer and side plate rims and Rococo scrollwork is intact with minor age-consistent mellowing to the gold acanthus work, as expected for pieces of this period.
